Congratulations are in order for Courtney and James. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Providence Art Club and their wedding coordinator, Seb, ensured no one would have a thing to worry about. It rained just before the ceremony was about to begin and the staff at the Art Club scrambled effortlessly to set up for an unexpected indoor ceremony just minutes before it down poured. This was one of my favorite weddings because it was filled with love, a crazy wedding party and adventure. The brides brother, Adrien, officiated a heartfelt ceremony. Her niece did the readings. To top it off, her 100 year old grandfather delivered the blessing and provided lots of advice for a happy marriage. By the time he was done speaking, there was not a dry eye in the room. Courtney looked stunning in her vintage style dress that she found at Alexandras Bridal Boutique. The colors of navy, cranberry and gold from the wedding party coordinated nicely with the Art Club. Did I mention how fabulous the food was there (Providence Art Club) too? The naked wedding cake came from Just One More Sweets. All the fresh centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres were cleverly designed by Alchemy Flowers and Gardens. I love that Courtney and James wanted to venture out down the block for some night photos towards the end of the night once the rain stopped. It made for some great photo opps in downtown Providence which fitted well into the Art gallery theme of their wedding. Courtney and James, I wish nothing but happiness for you. It was an honor being a huge part of your wedding day.
